Responsibilities
- Report the program’s cybersecurity status to management and customers.
- Analyze cybersecurity-related input documents and requirements and understand customer and supplier expectations.
- Negotiate input requirements with customers and suppliers when needed.
- Develop and derive functional and technical security requirements, including technical security concepts.
- Support automotive engineering processes covering requirements, architecture, design verification, and design validation.
- Maintain safe work practices and comply with Magna health, safety, quality, environmental, and training requirements.
Requirements
- Require 4–8 years of relevant product or technology experience.
- Require at least 3 years of automotive systems, software, or hardware engineering experience.
- Require at least 3 years of cybersecurity engineering experience on automotive electronics serial-development projects.
- Require excellent knowledge and proven implementation experience with ISO 21434.
- Require strong knowledge of functional and technical security requirements analysis and derivation at customer and supplier levels.
- Require systems, hardware, or software engineering experience in the automotive industry, especially ADAS product development.
- Require knowledge of ASPICE and engineering processes, including requirements management, architecture, design verification, and design validation.
- Prefer experience with FMEA, FTA, reliability engineering, advanced quality processes, change management, configuration management, and issue resolution.
- Prefer basic project management experience and advanced knowledge of software design tools such as Enterprise Architect.
- Require knowledge of requirements and configuration tools, including PLM and ALM tools such as PTC, Codebeamer, and Windchill.
- Require fluent spoken and written English and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Require a planned, structured, and cross-functional approach.
