Responsibilities

  • Support technology teams in implementing security controls across public-cloud architectures.
  • Analyze, correlate, identify, interpret, and summarize threats and vulnerabilities using specialized tools.
  • Develop cloud threat models, risk-based assessments, preventive controls, and detective controls.
  • Review infrastructure as code and develop secure, high-quality production code while debugging and reviewing others’ code.
  • Integrate cloud platforms with security operations, threat intelligence, access management, and network security teams.
  • Use and validate authorized AI capabilities for threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, documentation, code review, and control validation.
  • Execute security solution design, development, and technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts.
  • Experience developing security engineering and architecture solutions using public-cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security posture management tools such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration, including managed services such as EKS, AKS, or GKE.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Cloud-native experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using authorized AI capabilities in security engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations before adoption.
  • Preferred cybersecurity certifications include Security, CEH, CCSP, or GSEC, along with preferred AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certifications.
