Base Salary
$133k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure and maintain infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI using cloud-specific guardrails.
- Harden Kubernetes clusters by enforcing RBAC, network policies, admission controllers, and other cloud-native security practices.
- Develop and enforce authentication, authorization, identity-management, and least-privilege policies across cloud, container, and directory environments.
- Protect container images, registries, and runtime environments using Docker, Podman, and container-scanning solutions.
- Manage infrastructure and security policies in Git repositories using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Maintain Wiz and other CSPM capabilities to detect and remediate cloud misconfigurations and compliance drift.
- Automate compliance checks and generate audit evidence across the multi-cloud environment.
- Monitor and protect running applications and containers throughout their operational lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering or security engineering focused on secure, production-grade cloud systems.
- Extensive Kubernetes security experience, including containerized workloads, RBAC, and cloud-native secret management.
- Experience using AI to rapidly identify, validate, and remediate security issues without impact.
- Deep operational security experience with AWS; practical Azure, GCP, or OCI experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code.
- Hands-on experience with CSPM platforms such as Wiz.
- Strong experience designing and enforcing IAM and least-privilege architectures across multi-cloud and traditional on-premises directory environments.
- Experience with container security, image scanning, and runtime protection tools.
- Advanced cloud or container security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CKS, or CKA are preferred.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in Go/Golang, Python, or C++ is preferred.
- Experience automating compliance frameworks and generating audit evidence across multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience securing and operating air-gapped or highly constrained on-premises environments is preferred.
