Responsibilities
- Design, write, validate, and maintain clinical programming software and supporting documentation.
- Develop and support annotated CRFs, database creation, coding configuration, edit checks, import and export processing, listings, and custom reports.
- Lead clinical programming activities across three to ten concurrent studies and coordinate project resources.
- Provide application administration, technical support, system integration, application updates, user acceptance testing, and second-tier help desk support.
- Perform senior reviews of study-level, program-level, and multi-study core deliverables for accuracy.
- Support sponsor and in-progress audits and provide input on study budgets, scope monitoring, and change orders.
- Monitor workflow alerts, system errors, and performance issues.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance, and technical support to clinical programming and related department staff.
- Collaborate with clients, programmers, project teams, data managers, and requestors to clarify and finalize specifications.
Requirements
- Broad overall knowledge of clinical programming and clinical data management.
- Expertise with primary development tools including Medidata, Rave, Oracle OC/RDC, Oracle Inform, and/or SAS.
- Experience designing, coding, validating, documenting, and maintaining clinical programming deliverables according to standard procedures.
- Ability to lead project activities, manage multiple assignments, coordinate resources, and communicate delivery or resourcing risks.
- Ability to provide application administration, technical support, system integration, application updates, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to perform senior quality reviews and assist with sponsor audits.
- Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be considered.
