Base Salary
$120k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain production software applications.
- Create functional, destructive, unit, and performance test suites to support reliable and rapid production deployments.
- Contribute reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, and product-related documentation.
- Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with product teams to make user stories developer-ready, understandable, and testable.
- Provide guidance on modern software development frameworks and lead technical discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and identify opportunities to improve team productivity.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and drive adoption of tools, processes, or platforms across multiple teams.
- Develop technical roadmaps, estimate work, and support refactoring and modernization of legacy systems.
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Extensive experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies and effective data modeling.
- Experience with cloud computing techniques, software design patterns, security frameworks, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.
- Experience with debugging, root cause analysis, version control, and designing for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.
- Familiarity with AI-driven development, automation, or intelligent systems that improve engineering productivity, testing, or operational efficiency.
- Ability to lead technical efforts, influence engineering teams, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and leadership.
