Base Salary
$70k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement defined feature tickets across the React.js/TypeScript frontend and Python/FastAPI backend.
- Build UI components, write backend logic and REST API endpoints, and connect frontend and backend layers.
- Write unit tests and learn integration-testing practices.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, code pairing, and engineering process improvements.
- Use Tabnine and Claude Code, and build familiarity with AI products and LLM integration patterns.
- Own a personal development plan and communicate blockers to the Engineering Manager or tech lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent bootcamp/self-taught experience with demonstrated projects.
- 0–3 years of professional or internship software engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and the ability to contribute to code in both.
- Basic familiarity with React.js, including components, props, and state.
- Understanding of REST APIs and basic SQL queries and relational database concepts.
- Experience with Git, including branching, commits, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
- Preferred: project experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or React.js; exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with AI/ML concepts or LLM APIs; and experience in an Agile team environment.
- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to receive and apply feedback.
