Responsibilities
- Design, develop, support, and enhance technology solutions for vehicle acquisition and related mission-critical business processes.
- Lead implementation of scalable and reliable solutions and improve system quality, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Improve electronic vehicle ordering integrations with OEM partners and develop capabilities for in-house printing of Manufacturer Statements of Origin.
- Analyze requirements, evaluate technologies, translate business needs into solutions, and recommend product enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and production issues, including debugging multi-threaded applications and supporting product health.
- Collaborate with business users, architects, stakeholders, and Cloud Data Engineering, Workload Automation, and Data Transfer teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship, conduct code reviews, monitor performance metrics, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of Java development experience.
- At least 3 years of UI development experience, including CSS3, HTML5, and responsive/adaptive design.
- Experience with Spring, Struts, Hibernate, web services, AWS, and Jenkins.
- Experience with troubleshooting production issues, code reviews, production support, and leading large-scale projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and provide direction to others.
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future work authorization sponsorship from the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Preferred experience with React JS, React, REST-based APIs, Azure, .NET, MVVM architecture, design patterns, JIRA, Confluence, agile development tools such as Scrum or Kanban, and source control such as Bitbucket/Git.
