Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for enterprise customers.
- Diagnose distributed systems, virtualization layers, and high-availability cloud platform problems.
- Partner with Engineering teams and technology partners including Lenovo, HPE, and VMware to resolve systemic issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and complex systems diagnosis with mentor support.
- Provide field feedback and propose product enhancements to core Engineering teams.
- Build foundational skills in infrastructure management and diagnostic tooling.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Information Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, System Administration, or a related technical program.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Demonstrated customer service experience and clear communication with customers or stakeholders.
- Working familiarity with Linux/Unix fundamentals, TCP/IP networking, hypervisors such as KVM or ESXi, or distributed storage concepts.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, logical reasoning, and curiosity about hardware and software interactions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Benefits
- USD $27.00–$37.00 per hour in base pay.
- 12-week summer internship with start dates of May 17 or June 21, 2027.
- Hybrid work arrangement in Durham, NC, requiring at least three days per week onsite.
- Mentorship and hands-on experience with live technical cases and enterprise infrastructure.
