Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and integrate software systems into new or modified operating environments.
- Conduct RF machine learning research and develop signal-processing algorithms for wireless systems.
- Support software-defined radio experimentation, prototyping, and RF-based test setups.
- Design database or data-repository interfaces, develop queries, and contribute to repeatable data workflows.
- Develop and execute test procedures for prototype components and software releases.
- Communicate technical results through customer presentations, documentation, reports, and publications.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to translate research goals into working prototypes.
- Serve as a research team lead at the level appropriate for the project phase.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 1 year with a master’s degree, or a PhD in computer science or a related discipline; bachelor’s-degree substitution requires 4 additional years of experience.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and at least one of C, C++, Java, or Go.
- Experience or strong interest in RF machine learning, machine learning, algorithm development, digital signal processing, or software-defined radio/RF software engineering.
- Experience with modern machine-learning frameworks or platforms such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Strong technical documentation and written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and an active/current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required.
- Preferred qualifications include customer-facing R&D delivery, secure development in restricted environments, SDR platforms and tooling, advanced signal-processing concepts, operational software testing and certification, database or repository interfaces, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and reproducible experimentation.
