Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Perform functional, API, end-to-end, integration, database, regression, and UAT testing.
- Support performance and other non-functional testing as required.
- Raise, investigate, and retest defects in Jira.
- Prepare test data and maintain requirement-to-test traceability.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using C# and Playwright.
- Improve the existing test automation framework and contribute new solutions.
- Support CI/CD test execution and investigate failed automated tests.
- Use GitHub Copilot and approved AI agents for test design, coding, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in formal validation activities and prepare complete, reviewable test evidence.
- Collaborate with developers, the product owner, and other sprint-team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical software testing experience.
- Experience with both manual testing and test automation.
- Hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Playwright or another modern browser automation tool.
- Knowledge of API, end-to-end, and database testing.
- Experience working in an Agile sprint team.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Browser Developer Tools.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and maintainable coding practices.
- Ability to organize work, take ownership, communicate risks clearly, solve problems, and debug effectively.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Preferred: performance-testing experience, experience with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted engineering tools, automation-framework improvement experience, ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent practical knowledge, regulated-environment experience, and familiarity with GxP, GCP, GDPR, formal validation, or audit-ready test evidence.
