Base Salary
$127k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop commerce and payments platforms and services with technical leads and other engineers
- Architect, build, and operate owned services at scale
- Contribute to customer-focused project deliveries
- Clarify product requirements with other teams
- Improve engineering processes
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or prior relevant engineering experience
- At least 1 year of software engineering experience
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, data modeling, and schema design
- Technical documentation experience
- Proficiency in one or more of Go, Ruby, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem
- Commerce or payments experience is a bonus
- Twitch user, broadcaster, partner, or gaming-industry experience is a bonus
