Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise customers, partners, and field sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Understand customer business objectives, technical requirements, application architectures, and cloud transformation strategies.
- Design end-to-end CaaS and cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, infrastructure, storage, networking, and automation.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and executive technical discussions.
- Deliver technical presentations and customized customer demonstrations.
- Support technical strategies, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution positioning.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and automation frameworks for cloud or workload migration and infrastructure transformation.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, systems engineering, cloud architecture, technical consulting, presales, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with CaaS and cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and at least one major public cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of storage technologies, distributed systems, persistent storage, cloud-native networking, and Kubernetes networking.
- Hands-on automation development experience using Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, APIs, or similar tools.
- Experience designing and implementing proofs of concept and customer demonstrations.
- Experience developing automation frameworks for cloud migration, workload migration, or infrastructure transformation.
- Understanding of hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
- Strong communication, presentation, technical writing, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to work with engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel globally when required.
- Successful completion of a security clearance process and legal ability to perform the fundamental job duties are required.
