Responsibilities
- Assist with implementing the global e-commerce ecosystem, including B2C and B2B platforms and order management systems.
- Support design discussions by researching options and analyzing scalability and performance impacts.
- Help maintain integrations across order lifecycle systems from order placement through fulfillment.
- Contribute to expanded commercial channels and omnichannel commerce models.
- Build agentic systems optimized for automation, security, performance, and compliance.
- Participate in code reviews and apply software development best practices.
- Use AI tools to support feature development, debugging, documentation, and architectural exploration.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across a globally distributed team.
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of software development.
- Academic projects or internship experience involving e-commerce or web applications.
- Basic proficiency in modern web architectures and data transfer mechanisms.
- Eagerness to use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini.
- Understanding of commerce best practices and a consultative approach to solving business issues.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with IT, marketing, executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours with a globally distributed team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
