Responsibilities
- Embed with the Falcon product team as Security’s technical representative in planning, design reviews, and sprint work.
- Own security architecture for agents, MCP servers, tool integrations, identity, permission boundaries, trust boundaries, and blast radius.
- Design authentication, least-privilege credentials, session and delegation boundaries, audit logging, prompt handling, tool-calling, and secure data-flow patterns.
- Own security enablement from threat modeling through security requirements, configuration standards, secure-by-default patterns, and release readiness.
- Write and review production code for security-critical authentication, permissioning, and agent-orchestration components.
- Represent Falcon’s security posture and roadmap to the broader Cybersecurity organization and collaborate with identity, cloud security, and application security teams.
- Stay current on agentic security research and incidents and apply relevant lessons to Falcon.
Requirements
- 6+ years of security engineering experience, including meaningful embedded work within a software product or engineering team.
- Strong software engineering skills and ability to read, write, and review production code.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI architectures, MCP servers, tool-calling, and the Claude Agent SDK or a comparable agent framework.
- Deep knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, service-to-service authentication, and least-privilege credentials for human and non-human identities.
- Ability to operate as a technical peer to software engineers and influence through technical credibility.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: embedded or product security experience, production experience securing multi-agent systems, RAG pipelines, or MCP integrations, familiarity with OWASP LLM Top 10 or MITRE ATLAS, workload identity experience, and CISSP, OSCP, or GIAC certifications.
