Base Salary
$218k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of production ML systems for customer experience applications.
- Apply LLMs, deep learning, graph neural networks, and classical ML techniques to complex customer engagement problems.
- Lead ML projects end-to-end from architecture through production while managing priorities, risks, and dependencies.
- Build scalable, secure, reliable ML systems, evaluation pipelines, and data workflows using tested Python code.
- Mentor engineers and establish standards for design, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
- Lead design reviews addressing security, responsible AI, model quality, scalability, reliability, and latency.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps and execution plans with measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in machine learning and software engineering.
- Proven experience building, scaling, and maintaining production ML systems, data platforms, or analytical services.
- Hands-on expertise in one or more of LLMs, deep learning, graph neural networks, gradient-boosted trees, or regression.
- Strong knowledge of NLP, information retrieval, data mining, or advanced statistics.
- Strong Python skills and the ability to write maintainable, highly tested production code for ML services.
- Experience mentoring engineers, raising technical standards, leading design reviews, and influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight and measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.
