Responsibilities
- Support the technical implementation of interdisciplinary applied research projects in the front end.
- Visualize data and research findings in interactive front ends.
- Help design user interfaces with a focus on usability.
- Connect front ends to existing interfaces and applications.
- Document work to support testing, optimization, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in media informatics, computer science, data science, computational social science, or a comparable field.
- Have basic knowledge of modern front-end frameworks, ideally Vue.js.
- Have good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
- Have experience or a strong interest in data visualization, ideally with exposure to D3.js or similar libraries.
- Have German and English language skills at C1 level, particularly for working with scientific texts.
- Be able to work independently and systematically in a scientific environment and communicate effectively within a team.
