Base Salary
$100k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-performance mission-critical applications using C++ and Python.
- Develop software for high-rate UDP/TCP data streams, packet integrity, and low-latency transfer between hardware and software.
- Implement digital signal processing algorithms including FFTs, FIR filters, DDC, and spectral estimation.
- Create Python tools for automated testing, signal simulation, and performance benchmarking.
- Support GitLab CI integration for automated builds and deployments.
- Design software architectures, data pipelines, algorithms, APIs, and robust full-lifecycle software releases.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate using Git and Jira.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience emphasizing C/C++ and Python.
- Proficiency with Linux multithreading, inter-process communication, and network socket programming.
- Experience with X-Midas or similar signal-processing frameworks such as GNU Radio or REDHAWK.
- Experience implementing mathematical or scientific algorithms in code.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Must hold a TS/SCI/CI Poly clearance.
- Preferred experience with CUDA or OpenCL for GPU-accelerated signal processing.
- Preferred knowledge of Docker or Podman and containerization or orchestration for processing nodes.
- Preferred familiarity with pulsed/CW radar, modulation, FFT, FIR filter, and DDC concepts.
- Preferred understanding of DSP software implementation using NumPy, SciPy, or FFTW.
- Preferred background in electronic warfare or SIGINT, including COMINT or ELINT.
