Base Salary
$165k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for cloud resources that ingest, process, and visualize data from edge radar units.
- Research and prototype new backend technologies to enhance radar system management and real-time telemetry.
- Define and implement rigorous authentication protocols for secure device-to-cloud communication.
- Collaborate with the Principal Engineer (Edge IoT) to establish contracts and protocols between radar logic and cloud resources.
- Mentor the engineering team to elevate design standards and practices across the radar-cloud stack.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS cloud-native services for high-throughput device data.
- Deep experience in designing resilient distributed systems for radar telemetry.
- Strong understanding of software security, including authentication and data privacy frameworks.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead with a focus on backend services for physical assets.
- Ability to understand edge constraints and lead the design of cloud schemas for intermittent connectivity.
