Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Fresha’s core booking and scheduling engine for scale and reliable user experiences.
- Design, build, and ship user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
- Own features through discovery, technical design, implementation, testing, rollout, and observability.
- Extend the design system and deliver consistent, polished user interfaces.
- Write automated tests using Cypress, Jest, and React Testing Library.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, Infrastructure, and Mobile engineers.
- Use AI agents and LLM-powered coding tools to accelerate feature delivery while verifying generated code against architecture, security, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript and experience shipping large-scale consumer-facing web applications.
- Experience building and interacting with AI agents and integrating them into engineering workflows.
- Solid understanding of GraphQL and REST fundamentals, including Apollo or urql.
- Experience working with design systems.
- Fluency in web performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design best practices.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript testing frameworks.
- Strong technical judgment and accountability for code quality, security, and the final user experience.
