Responsibilities
- Design, build, enhance, and support enterprise integrations across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises platforms using API-led and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Google Apigee, GCP Pub/Sub, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Suite/Fusion Middleware, and AWS API Gateway.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, messaging solutions, and asynchronous event-driven integrations.
- Implement API security controls, authentication mechanisms, and governance standards.
- Support the full integration lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational support.
- Perform root cause analysis and continuous improvement to improve platform stability, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Create reusable integration frameworks, templates, mappings, technical documentation, and support procedures.
- Partner with architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, DevOps, support teams, and business stakeholders.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes and evaluate emerging integration technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in application integration, middleware development, API management, or enterprise system integration.
- Hands-on experience with one or more integration platforms, including Google Apigee, GCP Pub/Sub, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Suite/Fusion Middleware, AWS API Gateway, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations.
- Knowledge of messaging and event streaming technologies, including GCP Pub/Sub or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, middleware concepts, API lifecycle management, and system interoperability.
- Experience integrating cloud-based and on-premises applications in complex enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and secure API design principles.
- Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and related integration technologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices, source control systems such as GitHub, and automated deployment methodologies.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a globally distributed environment.
