Responsibilities
- Design and build interfaces for configuring agents, reviewing their work, approving or correcting actions, and understanding outcomes.
- Build observability and evaluation tooling for agent behavior and system improvements.
- Develop across the stack using React, TypeScript, service code, and data models.
- Partner with business teams to translate ambiguous operational problems into software.
- Own features through build, testing, launch, monitoring, and post-launch iteration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript, including complex application state and data-dense interfaces.
- Solid backend engineering ability and willingness to learn new languages; the organization uses Go, PHP, and Python.
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational data stores such as Postgres and DynamoDB.
- Product judgment, including the ability to determine what to build and what to cut.
- Interest in uncertainty, partial failure, and designing systems that support human correction.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, close knowledge gaps, and deliver in an evolving environment.
