Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
- Manage the application lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and production support.
- Develop domain models, microflows, business logic, workflows, reusable components, and responsive web interfaces.
- Integrate Mendix applications with REST APIs, SOAP services, enterprise applications, databases, and external systems.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and usability.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment artifacts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, DevOps Centers, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Support knowledge transfer and technical mentoring activities.
- Develop and promote Mendix standards, reusable assets, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with Mendix platform capabilities, releases, and relevant industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
- 3–6 years of overall software development experience, including a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Mendix application development.
- Mendix Intermediate Developer Certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade software solutions and managing the complete application lifecycle.
- Experience developing workflow-based and responsive web applications.
- Strong understanding of Mendix development, domain modeling, microflows, workflow development, integrations, and database connectivity.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, SOAP web services, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Mendix Advanced Developer Certification.
- Preferred: experience with cloud-based Mendix deployments, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, application architecture, integration patterns, global enterprise environments, digital transformation, workflow automation, application security, and authentication mechanisms.
