Responsibilities
- Define and review software architecture and technical solutions for mission-critical railway systems.
- Lead design reviews, technical discussions, code reviews, and pull request approvals.
- Guide developers implementing solutions with VB.NET and SQL Server.
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Mentor developers, provide technical guidance, and reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Monitor progress, ensure on-time delivery, and identify and mitigate technical risks and bottlenecks.
- Consolidate stakeholder knowledge related to railway systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing with VB.NET.
- Solid SQL Server experience, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proven technical leadership or senior-level experience.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Repos, Boards, and Pipelines.
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD.
- Experience conducting code reviews, design reviews, technical analysis, and pull request approvals.
- Ability to evaluate technical solutions and trade-offs, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Advanced English is mandatory.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally according to project and customer needs.
- Railway or train dispatching systems, mission-critical or real-time systems, legacy modernization, DevOps automation, and full-stack knowledge are desirable.
