Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop distributed AI/ML systems and collective operations that scale across accelerators and servers.
- Build low-level, high-performance software for HPC and machine learning workloads on AWS.
- Design and implement new and existing systems with attention to reliability and scaling.
- Collaborate with infrastructure experts, hardware engineers, RTL engineers, scientists, and architects.
- Participate in coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Mentor new and junior engineers while contributing to a knowledge-sharing engineering culture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with embedded systems, high-speed networking, or HPC interconnects.
