Base Salary
$189k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create frontend solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Translate customer insights into mockups, wireframes, and proof-of-concept code.
- Lead a small team in solving complex programming and design issues.
- Contribute to project design, architecture, and web, mobile, and frontend software development.
- Provide technical direction by analyzing, evaluating, and prioritizing technical issues and features.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI technology.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering practices, AI-enabled development, and technical expertise.
- Launch AI integrations in production and evaluate their impact using appropriate metrics.
Requirements
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with software design, architecture, and the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience consuming or creating web services with REST or SOAP.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expertise with unit testing and Test Driven Development.
- Familiarity with challenges involved in highly scalable and available web applications.
- Experience developing and maintaining large-scale consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
- Experience with open source technologies and prototyping or researching emerging frontend technologies or solutions.
- Proficiency building functional AI models using techniques such as prompting and AutoML.
- Skill monitoring model performance in production and making adjustments for optimal performance.
- In-depth understanding of AI integration and ability to lead integration while coaching junior engineers.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
