Responsibilities
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies based on business requirements and solution designs.
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Use physical laboratory equipment to validate real-life scenarios.
- Manage test execution and reporting using Zephyr Scale and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, investigate, and resolve software issues.
- Improve QA processes and product reliability across teams.
- Participate in Agile development processes and promote software testing best practices.
- Develop power systems domain knowledge to support the full product lifecycle.
- Mentor team members and advocate for quality assurance principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven experience in test automation using Python.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and testing tools.
- Knowledge of communication protocols including OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, and IEEE C37.118 is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with BDD testing and Gherkin notation is a plus.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with performance, security, or compliance testing is advantageous.
- Willingness to develop power systems expertise; prior knowledge or experience is an advantage.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and make decisions that improve product quality.
