Base Salary

$159k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Guide secure device development through security design, threat modeling, code reviews, security testing, and fuzzing.
  • Research and develop tools and techniques to improve device security at scale.
  • Provide security expertise and consultation to device product teams.
  • Identify security risks and work with product engineers on mitigations.
  • Develop security policies, procedures, awareness initiatives, and training materials.
  • Participate in projects developing new intellectual property.
  • Perform chip-level security testing, secure chip architecture design, system reviews, and reviews of secure boot, bootloader, and firmware code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of hardware security mechanisms, including secure boot and trusted execution environments.
  • Knowledge of operating system internals, particularly Linux and common RTOS environments.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor reverse engineering.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with system-level threat modeling, secure code reviews, cryptography, and SoC-level security fundamentals.
  • Preferred: master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: experience with Python, Perl, or Linux bash scripting.
  • Preferred: hardware, system, and network security experience, including cryptography.
  • Preferred: strong code review, exploit development, fault injection, and side-channel attack mitigation experience.

  • Base salary is listed at $159,300.00-$202,400.00 annually, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
