Responsibilities
- Translate the Growth Platform vision into a sequenced roadmap, investment options, measurable outcomes, delivery plans, and target architecture.
- Partner with Growth subject-matter experts to define problems, develop prototypes, evaluate concepts, and mature selected solutions into enterprise applications.
- Build, test, deploy, document, and improve shared Python services, APIs, data and AI capabilities, developer tooling, and selected applications.
- Assess applications for architecture, integration, identity, security, data, reliability, observability, and support readiness before deployment.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, maintain operational procedures, manage technical debt and lifecycle needs, and improve platform scalability.
- Create reusable patterns, reference implementations, automated delivery controls, and technical guidance for other developers.
- Communicate technical choices, tradeoffs, risks, value, and progress to engineers, business partners, and senior executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 8 years of related experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of related experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Advanced application-development experience across design, development, testing, deployment, administration, support, and modernization.
- Strong Python development skills and experience building secure APIs and integrations with enterprise systems, data, identity, and infrastructure.
- Experience partnering with subject-matter experts and architects to frame problems, develop prototypes, translate requirements, and create scalable enterprise designs.
- Experience with automated functional and nonfunctional testing, peer review, CI/CD, security scanning, dependency management, observability, and DevSecOps practices.
- Production-oriented experience applying AI, machine learning, or large language models.
- Advanced problem-solving ability for ambiguous, cross-domain, high-visibility work and demonstrated technical leadership through judgment, delivery, mentoring, and influence.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills across technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Experience managing enterprise platforms, shared service layers, or integrated application portfolios is preferred.
- Experience with LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, knowledge services, data pipelines, model evaluation, containers, automated delivery, configuration management, monitoring, capacity planning, backup, and recovery is preferred.
- A certified application developer credential demonstrating advanced or expert application-development knowledge is strongly preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
