Responsibilities
- Design and own solution architectures for applications and AI platform components from design and implementation through operation.
- Define and align end-to-end system architecture for scalable, secure, reusable enterprise AI and ML solutions.
- Create and coordinate Architecture Decision Records and obtain approval from relevant architecture boards.
- Apply ART-level and domain-level target architectures to team and initiative contexts.
- Drive hands-on architectural design for AI and ML solutions and translate high-level architecture into concrete solution designs.
- Ensure integration with enterprise platforms, data capabilities, security standards, and MLOps services.
- Identify and proactively escalate architectural risks, dependencies, and technical debt.
- Contribute architectural input to PI Planning, backlog refinement, and roadmap discussions.
- Act as the primary architectural contact for assigned teams while coordinating with Lead Architects and other System Architects.
- Advise and coach software engineers and collaborate with business, technology, and architecture stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Architect in complex IT environments.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lead or Senior Software Engineer with hands-on responsibility.
- Practical experience designing and delivering AI and ML solutions on scalable enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML solution patterns, data pipelines, orchestration, platform integration, distributed systems, APIs, and model lifecycle concepts.
- Experience translating ART- and domain-level target architectures into team-level solution designs across multiple teams.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production operational considerations.
- Strong software and system architecture foundation, including event-driven architectures, microservices, and modular monoliths.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Strong communication skills and business-fluent English.
- Additional SAFe, cloud, architecture, or AI/ML certifications are advantageous.
