Base Salary
$159k - $324k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain the core Workflow Platform Infrastructure.
- Benchmark the platform, collect metrics, and publish results.
- Ensure reliability and uptime of the platform with 99.995% guarantees.
- Estimate capacity and provision clusters for different customer workloads.
- Monitor and alert on production incidents for the platform.
- Analyze OSS platform components and code for improvements.
- Address critical system issues and improve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with teams to make the platform open and extensible.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.
- 5+ years of experience in developing and operating backend services and web applications.
- Experience building complex, high-performance distributed software systems.
- Strong familiarity with Java and Spring Framework in an AWS environment.
- Extensive experience managing mission-critical services with high throughput.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, or related field; MS preferred.
