Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based web applications across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Develop and enhance web, e-commerce, CRM, and other enterprise applications across backend and frontend technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional, operational, and support-ticket issues across cloud-based applications.
- Modernize legacy applications through containerization, testing, documentation, and current development standards.
- Contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end application testing.
- Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, and project teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum projects and Kanban-style application support.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve repetitive processes and ways of working.
- Document development work, technical changes, solutions, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 6–8 years of industry experience in software development.
- Strong experience across backend and frontend technologies, including Go, Python, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js, HTML, CSS, and associated frameworks and libraries.
- Understanding of clean coding practices, TDD, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and services including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, App Engine, Datastore, and BigQuery.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, Git, shell scripting, Ansible, and CI/CD.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and ORM technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and support high-availability cloud-based applications across planned projects and ad-hoc support priorities.
- Practical experience with process improvement, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Formal management or team lead experience.
- Preferred experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva CRM, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Preferred experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Preferred experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, and third-party APIs.
