Responsibilities
- Build tools and features for data and ML platforms, including data processing, insights portals, data observability, data lineage, model hubs, and data visualization.
- Develop custom solutions from the ground up and customize open-source products for Apple’s needs.
- Design and develop scalable, performant microservices and REST APIs.
- Build innovative tools and frameworks that extend third-party BI tool functionality through APIs.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications and products while collaborating across teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Java and/or Python.
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience designing and developing scalable, performant microservices and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with big data technologies, data platforms, distributed computing, SQL, and NoSQL data stores is preferred.
- Experience with AI/ML or data science and familiarity with frontend frameworks are preferred.
