Base Salary
$136k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and enhance software products for flow cytometry instruments.
- Define software architecture and recommend designs or modifications for complex software system components.
- Develop features across device communication, business logic, and user-interface layers.
- Build unit tests and API tests to automate software testing.
- Research, estimate, prototype, and implement solutions to product and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Project Managers, and Product Owners to establish milestones, timelines, estimates, priorities, and releases.
- Define requirements and software specifications and understand application structure and customer usage.
- Mentor software developers and conduct code inspections and technical reviews.
- Monitor progress against schedule commitments and report status and risks to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including object-oriented design and programming.
- Extensive experience with C#/.NET development.
- At least 3 years of web development experience with C#, TypeScript, Angular, HTML, ASP.NET, CSS3, SignalR, WebAPI, unit-test frameworks, SQL Server databases, and microservices architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing complex software applications is highly desired.
- Experience in a regulated FDA environment with medical instrumentation is a plus.
- Experience developing software for flow cytometers or related medical devices is preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is preferred.
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal, action-oriented, and results-focused communication and work skills.
