Responsibilities
- Build full-stack products and tooling for care experts who take over member questions from AI agents.
- Develop interfaces for routing requests, surfacing relevant context, steering AI, and drafting replies.
- Help shape product direction and lead technical initiatives with direct impact on member experience and healthcare access.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and mentor other engineers.
- Own software from development through deployment in Alan’s distributed-ownership engineering model.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building scalable software systems.
- Full-stack experience across backend and frontend development.
- Ability to turn complex problems into elegant solutions and understand the purpose behind technical work.
- Curiosity, high potential, humility, and willingness to continue learning.
- Interest in healthcare technology and understanding of insurance as a means of providing access to care.
