Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software components and systems.
- Develop tools and applications supporting robotics and aerospace platforms.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to integrate and test capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, version control, and defect tracking.
- Develop scripts and automation to improve team workflows.
- Support prototypes, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and learn to estimate development effort and timelines.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA; preference for students at the junior level or above.
- Foundational knowledge of Python, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, Eclipse, or similar IDEs.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. person status under ITAR/EAR requirements or eligibility for an export license; some positions require current U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred: experience with Linux, Windows, web technologies, cloud platforms, backend services, Bash, robotics, autonomous systems, data analytics, Agile development, and version control.
