Base Salary
$148k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Script and develop AFSIM scenarios to meet customer requirements and support system analysis.
- Research, model, experiment, and analyze DoD capabilities, systems, MBSE processes, and simulation environments.
- Develop and implement analytical methods and simulations for system analysis.
- Use AFSIM and Next Generation Threat System for simulation and analysis tasks.
- Participate in weekly test status and planning meetings and technical interchange meetings with U.S. government customers.
- Provide expertise in AFSIM scripting and simulation while managing shifting priorities and multiple project responsibilities.
- Work non-standard hours and schedules as required to meet project needs.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with 10+ years of relevant professional experience; additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Extensive experience scripting and developing scenarios in AFSIM.
- Experience collaborating with analysts on DoD capabilities, systems, MBSE processes, modeling, experimentation, and analysis.
- Experience developing analytical methods and simulations for system analysis.
- Preferred experience includes DIS filters, Tactical Data Analysis and Connectivity System, SISO and LVC distributed simulation standards, Link 16, C2 communications, Docker, CRI-O, Kubernetes, Rancher, and NGTS.
