Solution Architect, Charles River Development, Assistant Vice President
State StreetResponsibilities
- Partner with Sales throughout the full sales lifecycle, from discovery through deal close.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client goals, workflows, and constraints.
- Design and present solution architectures, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts aligned with client needs.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs covering integrations, data flows, and deployment models.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires with accurate technical content.
- Identify solution gaps, risks, and dependencies and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on client feedback.
- Support Sales-to-Delivery handoffs by documenting solution intent and scope.
- Contribute to sales enablement materials, reference architectures, and demo best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned domains, products, or industries.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical field.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software architectures, APIs, integrations, and data models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy considerations is preferred.
- Experience influencing product roadmaps or participating in beta programs is preferred.
- Prior client-facing consulting experience is preferred.
