Responsibilities
- Coordinate configuration, deployment, and testing of applications and microservices on on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation and software test plans.
- Test and document APIs, microservices, and containerized services, communicate issues to development teams, and verify resolution.
- Perform acceptance, integration, regression, front-end, back-end, performance, load, automation, IoT, and USB integration testing.
- Maintain software testing environments and facilitate code promotion into production.
- Coordinate testing activities with IDSL projects and priorities established by program and technical leadership.
- Support cross-functional teams by ensuring software products are tested and ready for research and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 5+ years of experience, or Master of Science with 3+ years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. citizenship.
- Strong experience configuring and testing software on premises and at field locations.
- Strong experience with at least one programming language, such as Go.
- Experience testing front-end and back-end software products and APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Experience testing IoT and USB device integrations and conducting performance and load testing with tools such as Gatling.
- Experience with test automation suites such as Selenium.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
- Understanding of event-driven systems, distributed architectures, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with identity management principles and tools such as Active Directory, as well as DevSecOps best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
