Base Salary
$159k - $324k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify root causes of major defects in Coupang's search experience.
- Propose solutions leveraging state-of-the-art technologies including ML and DL.
- Drive end-to-end ML methods with high ambiguity, scale, and complexity.
- Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models into production.
- Establish automated processes for data analysis and model validation.
- Run A/B experiments and perform statistical analysis to derive insights.
- Present results and methodologies to leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and enhance ML talent across the company.
- Act as a thought leader and gain consensus within the organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in engineering teams building large-scale ML-driven products.
- Experience with state-of-the-art ML modeling techniques like transformers and generative modeling.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proficient coding skills in Java, C++, or Python.
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
