Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs for frontend applications and system integrations.
- Implement maintainable business logic with attention to scalability, reliability, performance, security, and observability.
- Collaborate on deployment architecture, environment configuration, and CI/CD processes with Cloud Engineers.
- Define API contracts and integration patterns with Frontend Developers.
- Develop backend solutions for AI-driven and data-intensive workflows.
- Integrate Generative AI capabilities, LLM APIs, and AI services into enterprise applications.
- Contribute to backend architecture and design decisions.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python backend development.
- Hands-on experience with modern Python frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs.
- Practical experience integrating AI-powered services, LLM APIs, or Generative AI solutions into applications.
- Experience building solutions in AWS and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Experience with data pipelines or data-intensive applications is a plus.
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms, model-serving solutions, or inference endpoint integrations is a plus.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP interfaces, OData, IDoc, RFC, or BAPI is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployment is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, secure API design, authentication, and authorization is a plus.
