Base Salary
$240k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Use AI coding assistants and enterprise software agents to design, build, test, and iterate on production software.
- Own end-to-end feature and system delivery from requirements through deployment and monitoring.
- Build and iterate on AI agents, LLM integrations, agent orchestration, evaluation harnesses, and monitoring pipelines.
- Develop cloud-native microservices, scalable APIs, internal tools, reusable agent patterns, and supporting platform infrastructure.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, observability tooling, automated tests, benchmarks, and guardrails.
- Partner with Product, Research, data, platform, security, and architecture teams to translate workflows into technical solutions.
- Review, validate, debug, and improve AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate technical trade-offs and progress to engineering leadership and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency using AI coding tools and agents to develop, test, and ship production software.
- Strong backend, microservice architecture, and distributed systems experience with Python, Node.js, Java, Go, or C#.
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Solid experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and containerization.
- Strong ability to review, validate, and debug AI-generated code and exercise sound engineering judgment.
- Comfort working with Product Managers and business stakeholders in rapid iteration cycles.
- Preferred: experience with LLM-enabled systems, AI agents, agent orchestration, AI evaluation frameworks, enterprise AI platforms, Spark, Airflow, dbt, React, Angular, Vue.js, commercial real estate, research, financial services, or cloud-native modernization.
