Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
- Develop and maintain public APIs in TRM’s API Product suite.
- Support internal business units through shared engineering services and functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional visions into roadmaps with clear outcomes.
- Understand customer pain points and connect them to technical and product requirements.
- Lead projects as a technical anchor while improving team velocity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation approximately once every 4–6 weeks, triaging PagerDuty alerts and customer support requests.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
- Understanding of storage systems including relational databases such as Postgres and analytical databases.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer pain points and translate them into technical and product requirements.
- Strong initiative, ownership, prioritization, adaptability, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to structure problems, identify critical issues, and make effective tradeoffs.
- Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Node.js experience is helpful but not required because the company supports learning tools and languages on the job.
- AI fluency and the ability to apply AI to improve workflows, problem-solving, output quality, and speed.
