Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify, prototype, and integrate ML technologies and infrastructure to improve fraud-detection effectiveness and scalability.
- Design and implement ML pipeline components that accelerate experimentation.
- Own high-impact ML projects from offline experimentation through deployment and production monitoring.
- Improve model performance and maintain robust, scalable, and scientifically sound fraud-detection systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Risk teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Champion testing, documentation, model monitoring, and development best practices.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a comparable quantitative field is required.
- 4–6+ years of post-undergraduate experience in a production-grade machine-learning environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of machine-learning theory, statistical evaluation, and supervised and unsupervised learning at scale is required.
- Demonstrated experience taking ML projects from research or prototype through high-scale production environments is required.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, key ML libraries, and Spark is required.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is required.
- Experience in fraud, fintech, payments, or e-commerce is preferred.
- Experience writing well-tested production-grade code is preferred.
- A master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
