Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a tactical security roadmap, initiatives, and improvements.
- Identify infrastructure security gaps and vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans.
- Develop security standards, guidelines, tools, controls, and automation for AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Perform security architecture reviews and assessments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to implement security measures and policies.
- Govern and implement security controls through infrastructure as code.
- Develop and maintain internal security analytics and data platforms.
- Build data pipelines for security posture and event information.
- Document security configurations, policies, and procedures and report on security posture and KPIs.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience working as a DevOps professional, Cloud Engineer, or Architect with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- 1–3 years of experience managing and securing infrastructure as code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Data Science.
- Solid experience securing and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Experience scripting and parsing information with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Understanding of scalability patterns for high-traffic infrastructure systems.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery models and best practices.
- Experience with data engineering concepts such as ETL and data modeling is preferred.
- Experience with GitLab and security, DevOps, or data analytics certifications is preferred.
