Base Salary
$46k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications alongside experienced engineers and mentors.
- Contribute to a software development project or technical investigation supporting team objectives.
- Design, implement, and test software components.
- Develop and interact with APIs and other software interfaces.
- Work in a Linux development environment and use command-line tools and software development workflows.
- Investigate technical problems, evaluate solutions, and communicate findings.
- Collaborate with engineers using Git, GitLab, and other software development tools.
- Develop automated tests and participate in software verification and validation.
- Document technical work and present project results to engineers and management.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Familiarity with programming concepts appropriate to the candidate's academic level.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies.
- Practical software development experience, signal processing knowledge, computer architecture experience, and hardware/software test development experience are preferred.
- Previous internship, co-op, or other work experience is preferred but not required.
