Member of Technical Staff, Revenue Cloud Rating – Backend Java Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services for the Revenue Cloud Rating platform.
- Develop within a Java-based, event-driven microservices architecture.
- Make technical decisions amid ambiguity during a team and product transition.
- Review personal, peer, and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Use AI development tools and prompt engineering to produce reliable, production-ready code.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of backend Java experience.
- Experience building and operating microservice and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on regular use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Prompt engineering skills sufficient to make AI-generated outputs reliable and production-ready.
- Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and make decisions collaboratively in an ambiguous environment.
- Preferred: experience with acquisition-related team or product integrations, usage-based billing, metering or rating systems, or documented shared system context for AI tools.
- Relevant extracurricular leadership, military, volunteer, or comparable experience may be considered when evaluating core competencies.
