Base Salary
$184k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop major algorithmic or MATLAB modules and flows through research, design, implementation, integration, testing, and proliferation.
- Perform algorithmic characterization and feasibility work, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection, evaluation, and implementation planning.
- Create work plans, document development, and coordinate implementation, integration, testing, and field deployment.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze gaps, define activities, collect data, and support integration and testing.
- Participate in system definition and account for system and application environments during module and flow development.
- Tutor and guide algorithm developers working on shared modules or flows.
- Evaluate new technologies and competitor technologies within the area of expertise.
Requirements
- Demonstrated depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized algorithmic discipline or field.
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices.
- Ability to lead others in solving complex problems using sophisticated analytical judgment.
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate adoption of different points of view.
- Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resources, risk, and complexity.
