Responsibilities
- Develop APIs and services and write production software across Liberis engineering teams.
- Take ownership of solutions that address real-world problems for small businesses.
- Mentor junior members of the Engineering team.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, Delivery, and Engineering colleagues using iterative development methods.
- Participate in code pairing and an on-call rotation.
- Contribute to customer-facing products, platforms, data systems, or AI-enabled software initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven success writing code in two or more programming languages.
- Experience developing APIs and services.
- Experience mentoring more junior team members.
- Understanding of Agile methods such as Extreme Programming, Kanban, or Scrum.
- Resilience in early-stage business environments with evolving requirements and experimentation.
- Willingness to learn and work with C# .NET, Node, and React.
- Experience with cloud technologies, especially GCP, is preferred.
- Experience with ensemble, mob, or pair programming is preferred.
- Experience writing financial software is preferred.
- Experience with Test Driven Development is preferred.
