Responsibilities
- Build per-PR and nightly performance regression detection with KPI measurement and alerting in CI.
- Re-architect the system-test layer to run headless end-to-end scenarios through PreForm Server.
- Develop and own customer-file corpus pipelines that run slicing and support-generation workloads and compare results against baselines.
- Own Sentry triage, crash trending, root-cause attribution, and crash-reproduction harnesses.
- Maintain print regression baselines, CI flake management, test runtimes, and golden-file systems as test infrastructure.
- Define the PreForm test strategy independently while remaining hands-on in implementation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ for integration and system tests against PreForm internals, including mesh operations, print-file generation, and slicing output.
- Proficiency in Python for corpus pipelines, API-driven test drivers, result diffing, and reporting.
- Strong CI and automation experience with Jenkins, test parallelization, flake management, and baseline or golden-file testing strategies.
- Experience using observability data such as Sentry, Amplitude, crash dashboards, and performance dashboards.
- Desktop application testing experience, including GUI automation on Windows or macOS with Squish or Qt Test, is strongly preferred.
- Interest in 3D printing or emerging technologies and experience in a fast-growing startup environment are bonus qualifications.
