Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP Variant Configuration models for complex products.
- Create and manage object dependencies, configuration profiles, characteristics, classes, and related master data.
- Coordinate SAP VC models across Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, and Materials Management for pricing, BOMs, and routing.
- Integrate SAP and Workato solutions with PLM, MES, VIN generation, broadcast, and other enterprise systems.
- Design, configure, and optimize end-to-end Workato integration workflows and reusable recipes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and prepare technical design documents.
- Conduct field mapping sessions and ensure adherence to integration standards and best practices.
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end testing; identify and resolve defects.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage expectations, blockers, and delivery requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and business analysts and contribute to training, recruitment, and practice-building activities.
- Estimate project effort, timelines, and complexity and support delivery planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3 to 7 years of SAP experience, specifically in Variant Configuration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration using LO-VC or S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration.
- In-depth understanding of classification systems, including class types 300, 200, and 001.
- Hands-on experience with object dependencies, configuration profiles, characteristics, and class maintenance.
- Ability to generate complex reports using classes and characteristics.
- Expertise in SAP customization and RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow.
- Experience with data migration and system integration projects.
- Exposure to PLM, MES systems, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with unit and integration testing and Go-Live support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience designing and developing Workato integrations, workflows, and recipes is required for the integration delivery responsibilities.
- Experience preparing technical design documents, conducting field mapping, and optimizing integration performance is preferred.
